Paramount Network is dividing the last season of Yellowstone into two parts and calling them Season 5A and Season 5B.

Is There Really No Season 6?

Nope, Paramount Network said that Season 5B is the final part of the Dutton family story, at least for now. But don’t worry, because….

Even though John Dutton is retiring, the Yellowstone series is still going strong. Paramount+ is starting a new spinoff series. The details have been kept hidden from the public but people are saying that the new show will be a modern adaptation. Probably there will be some of the same actors from the original show and additionally there are rumors that Matthew McConaughey will star in the show.

• Can Beth control her Temper? Beth Dutton, the popular redhead, was very angry in Season 5A. Will she change and become better or keep being mean?

Who Will Claim the Dutton Throne (If Anyone)?

John Dutton’s future feels uncertain. If he lives through the attack, will his almost dying make him kinder? Or will it make him want revenge and cause problems for the ranch? There’s also a chance that John might not survive. Who will be the new leader? Beth might be a good fit, but will her quick decisions cause more problems? 

Kayce’s experience with animals could make him a better leader. Perhaps, Jamie will finally show his true loyalty to the family.

 

 

Alliances and Betrayals: Who Can You Trust?

In Season 5A, it became clear that the Dutton family doesn’t have much trust. Jamie’s loyalty is unpredictable. Will he escape from his controlling adoptive father, or will he give in to the temptation of power and join the ranch’s enemies? Speaking of enemies, who are the Duttons fighting against now? Market Equities seems like the bad guy, but is there someone closer to home who might betray them?

 

The Price of Power: Can the Duttons Find Peace?

The Dutton family has always been involved in fighting and arguing. Is there any chance they can find peace? Will they be able to get along with their enemies, or are they stuck in a never-ending fight? Maybe someone like Rip Wheeler, Beth’s husband, can bring some calm and reason to the chaos. His experience dealing with violent situations in the past may help him advise the Duttons on how to solve their problems peacefully.

 

 

A Look at the Cast: Who’s In and Who’s Out?

Kevin Costner is leaving the show who played John Dutton and this is going to be a major heartbreak for the fans. But there are some other known actors who will still be on the show like Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes who is coming back. They will be playing their respective characters, Beth Dutton and Kayce Dutton.

There are rumors about a spinoff but we don’t know if the other actors will be in it. Seeing them in Season 5B makes fans happy for one last time.

Yellowstone might be leaving, but it will definitely be remembered for a long time. The show talked about family, loyalty, and fighting to survive in a changing West and many people loved it. Season 5B could be the end of a time, but it also starts a new part of the Yellowstone story. Maybe Matthew McConaughey will bring a lot of excitement to the ranch.
