BIG Surprise About Shah Rukh Khan’s Debut Movie
Alright guys, are you all set? Because this is a BIG secret!
Everyone believes that SRK’s debut film was Deewana (1992). But that is half correct! In fact, his very first acting stint on screen was in a television film titled In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones.
It was released in 1989! Can you imagine that? He was an struggling actor then. The film was about college students and was directed by Pradip Krishen. And who penned the film? None other than the famous writer Arundhati Roy, who also played a role in it! Another well-known actor, Manoj Bajpayee, was also featured in this film.
This movie wasn’t released in theaters. It was a made-for-TV movie, and it was telecast on Doordarshan. So, technically speaking, the filmy career of SRK began on the small screen, not the grand screen. Cool, huh!
