My Lovely Empress is a management game created by Game Changer Studio, a studio located in Tangerang, Indonesia. It’s set in a fictional city called the Crimson Empire, where you use sacrifices to bring back your beloved empress. The game was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2023. 

Gameplay

This game has the same gameplay as the earlier My Lovely series. Players still manage resources and can either love or sacrifice the creatures they summon.

Yaoguai Summon

Summon Yaoguai to support you in your imperial responsibilities, each Yaogui has special traits and characteristics. Make relationships with Yaoquai to charge them making them strong allies or potent sacrifices. 

Choose Your Path

Work with different rulers to accomplish your final goal or choose a different path together with them. Each path will directly influence the story.

Characters

In the game, Emperor Hong tries to bring back his dead Empress by summoning Yaoguai. Emperor Hong ruled the Crimson Empire and loved his late Empress. Yaoguai are monsters that Emperor Hong calls upon.

Development

My Lovely Empress was announced on September 21, 2023, at the Tokyo Game Show 2023. Neon Doctrine worked on the game and will also publish it. Game Changer Studio says the game is inspired by East and Southeast Asian myths. This is set to be released in 2024.

Trivia

This game is the third game in the My Lovely series by Game Changer Studio. The design of Emperor Hong is based on ancient Chinese emperors from stories like the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
