As cross-platform games are growing in an incredible manner, gaming consoles keep upgrading themselves to match the international quality standards. The next game to be added in this library is Baldur’s Gate 3, multi-award-winning RPG game.
Larian studio, its maker, recently announced soon-to-be-launched features such as cross-play feature, 12 new subclasses, and a photo mode in the next big version update.
Baldur Gate 3 Cross-Play: Enhancements in Gameplay
Cross-progression is already available in the game, allowing users to transfer their game to different consoles without losing their hard-earned progress. Soon, cross-platform abilities will be added to this reassuring feature, enabling players from different platforms to work together in real-time gameplay. The next upgrade, code-named Patch 8, will be released globally in stages.
A representative from Larian said, “Once the update is live, you’ll be able to invite your friends to join your cross-play lobby directly, regardless of platform, and find available multiplayer lobbies with friends on other systems using the Larian Network.”

It also does more than just the basics, like the removal of unwanted elements in a snapshot, including other players, NPCs, and enemies.
