According to the inside information, it would be nothing but an AI-based tablet like the Amazon Echo Hub or Google Nest Hub.

Internally referred to as “J490,” this anticipated Apple AI wall tablet is designed to integrate seamlessly within Apple’s ecosystem. It aims to serve as a central hub for home automation, communication, and entertainment, all powered by an evolving Siri and Apple Intelligence.
Is Apple Really Launching a Home Wall Tablet?
Apple has not publicly announced anything. But Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported on November 12, 2024, that the company is finalizing its plans for a new home device tablet, with a possible launch as early as spring 2025.

Are there different Versions of the Apple AI Wall Tablet?
Apple is reportedly developing two versions of the AI wall tablet: a display-only model and a higher-end variant. The display-only model will be wall-mountable or usable on a tabletop stand or nightstand.
