It’s been 14 years since this classic movie was released. Even though it wasn’t very popular with the critics, fans loved it nonetheless. And there’s no harm in revisiting old memories. This time around we are gonna look at the ‘Night at the Museum cast’, how they look like now, and what are they up to. In this blog, I will only show the main cast members, and few of the supporting casts. ( Note: Sorry, but I will not show the images of cast members ‘who have passed away’, no matter how big their role was in the film, and how much we miss them, because it is not, right. Period.)
Before I show you the images of ‘Night at the Museum cast’ members, let’s see what the plot of the film was.
The Plot
The plotline revolves around a nightwatchman named Larry Daley at the Museum of Natural History. Who is divorced and has a little kid, Nick. Larry is hopping from job to job, which makes his ex-wife Erica believe he is up to no good and is a bad role model for their kid.
On Larry’s first night at the museum, the exhibits come to life after sunset, even though Larry had a manual given to him by the previous night’s security guard Cecil. It got destroyed by Dexter (a stuffed capuchin).
Later he got to know about the Golden Tablet of Pharoah Ahkmerah which made the artifacts come to life, after sunset. Larry got to know about this through Teddy Roosevelt played by Robin Williams after he rescued him from the fighting miniature leaders of Jedediah and Octavius.
Now the plot revolves around the previous night’s security guards (Cecil & Gus) and how they plan to steal the Golden Tablet of Pharoah Ahkmenrah, and other artifacts to sell and secure their retirement package. And how our hero Larry ‘The NightWatchman’ Larry tries to overcome his inferiority complex and save the museum.
Meanwhile, there are different storylines going on in the background, which we won’t cover here because we are here to see what the cast of Night at the Museum looks like now. So, let’s get on with it!

Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller as Larry Daley
The character of Larry is played by none other than Ben Stiller, who is well-known for his comedic roles, as a producer and a director as well. He is well-recognized for his role in the film Tropic Thunder (one of my personal favorites). He even gave his voice in the movie Madagascar as Alex. Showcasing his immense talent. Ben has mentioned in a lot of interviews that he had a lot of fun working alongside the Night at the Museum cast.
His most recent work as an actor was in Bleecker (2022). But he has continued his work as a producer.

Carla Gugino
Carla Gugino as Rebecca Hutman
She may not have the same star power as Ben Stiller, but she’s been in the industry for very long. And has worked in some very well-known movies like The Watchmen. She was discovered by a major modeling agency in San Diego.
Her most recent work was in the TV Series called The Girls on the Bus.

Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson needs no introduction when it comes to comedic roles, but he is not only known for his acting skills, he’s also a great screenwriter plus producer. He has worked in many great movies like The Royal Tenenbaums, and Wedding Crashers and recently he was featured in the Loki series as well.

Ricky Gervais is known for the creation and screenwriting for the famous TV series The Office. He is a comedian at heart who loves acting too. His portfolio doesn’t just end with acting and comedy, he has hosted many award shows, gaining him multiple bragging rights.
He has won many awards as well, BAFTA Awards, and multiple British Comedy Awards.

Rami Malek as Ahkmenrah, Egyptian Pharaoh
Rami is an American actor, his most renowned work was in the TV series Mr. Robot, where he played the role of a hacker. But he gained the well deserved popularity after he portrayed Freddie Mercury in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. (he was phenomenal, wasn’t he?)
His most recent work was in the movie Oppenheimer, and he’s gonna star in the movie called ‘The Amateur’ which is in production at the moment.
He was a good choice for the ‘Night at the Museum cast’.

Dick Van Dyke

Mizuo Peck
Mizuo Peck as Sacagawea
Mizuo Peck, known for playing Sacagawea in the “Night at the Museum” movies, is an American actress. She’s appeared in films like “A Case of You” and TV shows like “Madam Secretary.”
She played the love interest of Teddy (Robin Williams) in the movie Night at the Museum.
